Fringe For Free

Volunteers are the cornerstone of the Kansas City Fringe Festival organization. Each year the efforts of our volunteers are integral to the growing success of the Fringe. Not only do Volunteers assist with the annual Fringe Festival itself, but help staff quarterly Fringe fundraising events like Fringe Shorts and Mardi Gras, promoting the Fringe at First Friday's and in many other fun and important capacities.

Volunteer shifts can vary in length but are usually at least three hours. For each hour donated, you will receive 2 $ Fringe Bucks $, good toward show tickets, merchandise and special offers during the Fringe Festival. You can volunteer as often as you like, however, please be aware that if you volunteer for a shift in support of a performance, you may not be able to sit in on the performance.

By volunteering your time, not only are you supporting the Vibrant Arts Community in Kansas City, but brilliant and talented local, national and international artists. Come and be a part of the year round experience that is the Kansas City Fringe Festival!!!
